I am a 14 year MCM volunteer. After several years  of imaging how valuable a Friends group could be toward the promotion and financial support  of our fantastic museum, I teamed up with 2 other people and established our nonprofit group in April of 2020.  Being able to share in the growth and success of both the Friends and the Mendocino County Museum has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life.

I am a member of the Board because I believe in the Museum and its responsibility to preserve the rich history of Mendocino County.  The viability of the Museum is crucial and thus being a member of the FOTMCM is my way of helping continue this mission.

I was watching positive change happening, realizing the Friends were making that happen collaborating with Karen and Lindsey and I wanted to become a part of driving that kind of change so I joined the Board.
